The investigation is currently ongoing

On July 23, Alicia Navarro now 18 years old walked into a tiny Montana police station that was about 40 miles away from the Canadian border and 1,000 miles away from her home in Glendale Arizona. She identified herself as the missing girl from Glendale Arizona. She asked authorities to take her off the missing person's list so she could go on with her adult life and get a driver’s license. Montana police would later contact police in Glendale and inform them that Alicia who was missing for 4 years has been found. In a short video released by Glendale Police Alicia thanks authorities for offering to help her and tells them “ No one hurt me” and wasn’t being held against her will she could come and go as she pleased. And how bad she felt for what she put her mother threw.

Her mother Jessica Nunez and Alicia would also FaceTime but briefly they still haven’t seen each other in person. Jessica would write on her Facebook page Finding Alicia “ For everyone who has missing loved ones, I want you to use this case as an example. Miracles do exist. Never lose hope and Alicia’s fight. She would address her daughter directly writing “ Alicia I know you will fulfill what you promised, You will be back”.
